Takahopa Bay Retreat was built in 2019, powered by solar and an emission free hydrosystem. Located 21 km from the township of Owaka, the 30min scenic drive takes you over farmland and native bush out to the coastal area of Purakauiti.
The space
Fully self contained, the 115 m2 home is beautifully presented accommodating up to 4 guests, perfect for a family holiday or a breakaway with friends. The Retreat, provides a home from home with total seclusion and more... As you enter the property, the 180 degree views of the coastline and surrounding valley are breathtaking. Internally, everything has been thoughtfully designed, all the detail carefully curated, no stone left unturned.​​

You have full access to the Retreat and its facilities, also there is a track from the property to the beach which is a short walk and well worth it. There is abundant bird life here!

Catering - a continental breakfast is provided, which includes bread, spreads, cereals, fresh farm eggs (when chooks are performing!) yoghurt, fruit salad, milk and juice.
