"What a perfect place to spend a few days.
Everything about Tahakopa Bay Retreat was fabulous - the views, the beautiful, comfortable house, the breakfast and baking provided, the coffee, the bedding, the bath...the list goes on.

"If you are after peace and solitude this is the place. Absolutely superb accommodation with amazing attention to detail. Beautiful furnishings, linen bedding, chef’s kitchen, wood burner and outside bath. Fall asleep listening to the ocean waves and enjoy a coffee from the comfortable rocking chair on the front deck. The native bird song was a delight."

Remote enough to feel like you’re truly away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, yet close enough to explore the local area if you’re so inclined, the cabin is well equipped with everything you could possibly need.
Heaven truly is curling up by the wood burner reading a book and looking out at the phenomenal view.
Everyone should experience this place, and we’re already planning a return trip!"
